TITLE SEARCHES
Every transaction begins with a thorough title search, carefully reviewed by one of our attorneys at Kenyon Law. This ensures there are no liens, claims, or other issues that could affect your ownership of the property. We proudly provide title search services across the entire state of Rhode Island.
TITLE INSURANCE
As an authorized agent for all the major title insurance companies—including First American, Commonwealth, Chicago, Fidelity, CATIC, and Stewart—we offer both Lender’s and Owner’s title insurance policies.
Lender’s Policy: Required for all mortgage transactions, this policy protects the lender’s interest in the property.
Owner’s Policy: Optional but highly recommended, this one-time policy protects your equity and remains in effect for as long as you or your heirs own the home.
​We offer both Standard and Enhanced Owner’s Policies. While a Standard policy protects you against issues that existed before you purchased your home, the Enhanced Policy adds valuable post-closing protections—such as coverage for forgery, boundary or zoning violations, encroachments, and even certain building permit or subdivision issues that may arise after you buy. It’s designed to give homeowners the highest level of protection and long-term peace of mind.

We can host closings at our Wakefield office, our Warwick office, or wherever our clients prefer. We work in conjunction with four real estate attorneys at Kenyon Law Associates, LLP, which enables us to be very flexible.
