Priority Title Company is a locally owned and operated provider of residential title and settlement services with deep roots in the South County community. Scott Denelle founded Priority Title Company in September of 1994 after experiencing first hand the frustrations of dealing with a typical old-school law practice when purchasing a home. As a first time homebuyer, he had questions and needed answers from his lawyer who was not returning his calls or prioritizing his needs. This was a huge investment for Scott and his family, and he was amazed that the lawyer he hired wasn't responding. That was when Scott realized there was a need for a consumer friendly Real Estate Title Services Company. He believes the home buying process should be positive for all involved and communication is key to making that a reality. Priority Title was born.

BIO

Scott was born in Cumberland, RI and raised in Narragansett with his four siblings. After high school, he attended the College of the Holy Cross and graduated in 1984 with a BA in Economics and Accounting. After a brief stint in a public accounting firm he went back to school and obtained his Master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Rhode Island in 1986.  He then started his 9-year career at Plymouth Mortgage Company, making his way up to Regional Sales Manager and in 1994 he decided he wanted to create a real estate title services company that would work in conjunction with Kenyon Law. The combination of these two entities filled the void between legal services and consumer sensitivity.  Today Scott, with the legal services of the 4 attorneys at Kenyon Law and 5 experienced support team members, has helped more than 14,000 families purchase/refinance their homes over the last 27+ years.  When Scott is not in the office, he is surfing, playing golf or spending time with his wife and two children.
